The noise generated by pneumatic valves in a compressed air system is quite annoying and can, in the long term, lead to considerable and often irreparable damage. A popular solution is the attachment of pneumatic silencers to valve outlets, tubes and compressed air outlets. Stainless steel mufflers or silencers offer significant noise reduction thanks to their internal filters.
