FRL AIR TREATMENT UNITS

The compressed air generated by a compressor is in its raw state; in other words, it has chemical and physical properties that are unsuitable for its effective use in a pneumatic system. It is often full of impurities and contaminants and requires adequate lubrication to make the industrial plant as efficient as possible. This is why it is important to install air treatment units upstream of the system. The compressed air treatment unit consists of three devices which, when combined, create the ideal conditions for the effective and efficient use of compressed air.

The three elements of the unit are:

• FILTER
• Pressure REDUCER or REGULATOR
• LUBRICATOR
